2 Month Shots.. OUCH!

So you got your two month shots today, and boy were you not happy about it. You were first measured and weighed and came in at 23 1/2 inches long, and 12 lbs 9 oz. In the 90th percentile. :) We were very happy to hear this. And then the Dr. left and we waited patiently for the nurse to come in and give you your shots. It seemed like forever until she came, and you were getting hungrier by the minute. She finally came in and Mommy helped the nurse by holding your arms while she confined you by pinning your legs against the table. You did not like this at all, and starting wailing even before the first needle was poked. The nurse seemed to be taking her time, and was not as efficient as we thought she could have been, taking a long time to administer the shot, and go on to the next one. After the 4 shots were done, mommy picked you up and you stopped crying for a bit, and we left the Dr's office and fed you in the car before going home. It was a tramatic experience but well worth it. You actually slept through the night, and woke up the next day, feeling ok, but later that day, you were not yourself and so mommy gave you some tylenol which seemed to do the trick. You continued not feeling very well for probably the next 2 to 3 days. And then you got back to being you. Your happy self again. We were happy to see you smiling and cooing again and are not looking forward to the next round of shots.
